Homework! Help!!!

8th & 9th March at Pateley Playhouse

15th March at the Frazer Theatre, Knaresborough, in the Nidderdale & District Drama Festival. 

Devised by Ruth Dodsworth, Shona Bostwick and Joyce Liggins from 'Plays from Literature' compiled by Evelyn Smith. 

Pateley Bridge Juniors were in winning form with their production of Homework! Help!!! at the Nidderdale and District Drama Festival held at the Frazer Theatre, Knaresborough.

Ruth Dodsworth, Joyce Liggins and Shona Bostwick received the trophy for the Best Producer of a Junior Play.

Jonathan Levy was awarded the Elsie Charlton Memorial Trophy for Best Male Junior.

Eve Greenword was awarded the Ripon Rowell Players Award for Best Female Junior and also the Adjudicator's Special Prize for her recorded voice of the Nightingale which had so impressed the adjudicator.  In what must have been a Festival First, Eve asked that Phoebe Kendall should accept this trophy in recognition of Phoebe's performance despite being extremely nervous.  The entire audience was touched by this gesture of generosity and selflessness.
