Pateley Bridge Dramatic Society (PBDS) is a small amateur theatre company based in our own delightful theatre, The Playhouse in Pateley Bridge at the heart of Nidderdale in the Yorkshire Dales.

We present three to four of our own productions each year, and invariably receive enthusiastic and positive feedback from our audiences (check the feedback/ critique sections for our recent plays in the Past Productions section). The most often voiced comment is that we frequently approach and often exceed professional standards. We cover most of the theatrical canon, from Pantomime to Shakespeare, from Mediaeval Mystery Plays to ‘potboilers’.
